Bringing Rhythm to Chaos
The Ἔrιs Quartet, based in Oberlin, OH, was formed in 2022 at the Oberlin Conservatory Advanced String Quartet Seminar. They are currently working with Tim Weiss and have been mentored by members of the Emerson, Verona, Pacifica, Fry Street, and Cavani Quartets. As advocates of new music in an ever-changing world of classical performance, The Ἔrιs Quartet works to produce and perform concerts that highlight classical canon landmarks, invite new multidisciplinary collaborations, and explore the unique sounds of today.
